Grega Habic is a Slovenian  guitarist who has so far released five solo records: Rebirth (2002), Catharsis (2008), Self Destruct Sequence (2009), Open Heart Surgery (2011), and his latest  2014 studio effort Kill The Engine.

The music found on his studio albums is mostly instrumental and can be described as a fusion of rock, jazz, blues and metal. Although Habic writes music and records all of the instruments himself, a large part of his music can also be atributed to the musical guests that regulary work with him on his recordings. Amongst those, there's Grega's great friend  and source of inspiration Jesse Adams. Being a voice of reason or a recording musician on many of the songs, Jesse plays a big role in what Grega does.

Manfred Dikkers-percussion

Mark Lemer-guitar

"Satisfyingly eclectic and breathtaking in its execution...Habic brings his own  jazzy flavour to proceedings and shows both comendable restraint and captivating flair when the songs require it.
-Steven Reid, Sea Of Tranquility (Jan 23.2012)

"Habic’s biggest asset is definitely his playing, which is just out of this world. But as we all know, that doesn’t really cut it, as there are so many fast guitarists out there that I’ve lost track. Luckily, Habic obviously not only has the chops to compete with the best of them, but he also boasts the compositional skills to go along. The songs are all well-crafted, with solid hooks and leading guitar lines. Habic never lets his skills get the better of him. In fact, he is a model of self-restraint. Okay, he may show off his flashy skills every now and then, but he hardly ever goes overboard, usually finding a fine line between technical skills and solid song-writing.
- Rok Podgrajsek, The Rocktologist (Mar 01, 2011)

"Whilst Grega Habic can undoubtedly shred with the best of them he certainly doesn't belong in the shredder category of instrumental guitar music. What he can claim is to surely being one of the most versatile and experimental guitarists out there."
-Russ P, Über Röck UK (Jan 10, 2012)
